National Tea Party Event
Over eighty supporters held Tea Parties during the designated Tea Party week and an astounding £16,000 has already been raised with more donations coming in each week.
One Tea Party Organiser told us, 'Ive just paid in £740 that we made at yesterday's party. People were amazingly supportive and everyone seemed to enjoy it - especially the children! We had biscuit decorating for them and I think they enjoyed the mess! We had a book stall, a cake stall, 'Whack the rat', plant stall etc. It expanded from a tea party to a fete!'
Our thanks to Barclays Bank who held 13 Tea Parties in local branches which raised £900 for the Trust. In addition Barclays have kindly agreed to match this sum so the total will be £1800!
It is not too late!
It is still possible to hold a Tea Party. We will make it easy for you by providing a special Fundraising Pack. Why not email Maria to find out more.
