Marathon des Sables - The toughest footrace on earth

The race took place in the Sahara Desert and covered 151 miles of sand dunes and uneven rocky, stony ground, over 7 days. The longest stage was on the fourth day - approximately 50 miles, which was then followed by a full marathon stage!
Davina was raising funds for Luke Frost Brain Tumour Research who collaborate with the Trust to help fund projects. She has raised an astounding £7,000 - well done Davina, this is an amazing achievement.
