April and Gary set up the SDBTT Kieron Clark Fund in memory of their son Kieron. He was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumour in December 1997 and bravely fought against it for four years eventually losing his battle on 25 November 2001, aged 11. Kieron also left behind two sisters, Harriet and Annabelle who miss him very much. On 31 July, April gave birth to another beautiful daughter, Amelia May.
Friends and family have helped to raise a large sum of money through events such as football matches, London to Southend bike ride, Hyde Park Fun Run, children's end of term school disco and carol singing. Very successful Golf Days have been held two years running resulting in large sums being raised.
The SDBTT Kieron Clark Fund are the proud recipients of our Fundraiser of the Year Award which was presented to them at the Dorchester Ball in December 2005. They had raised the astonishing sum of £36,317.
