Every research project funded by SDBTT and its partner charities is chosen following a rigorous grant application procedure. Applicants complete a detailed 20 page application form which is then peer reviewed by experts in the field of neurology from around the world. Once each project has been graded by these external referees it is reviewed by the Scientific and Medical Advisory Board before the top projects are awarded the funding to begin work.
