Three Peaks 24hr Challenge

3 PEAKS, 5 FREAKS" - On 1st June 2007, Adrian Clark, Tim Ives, Chris Higgins, Jim Huggins and Paul Wilkin undertook the "3 peak challenge" on behalf of Emma Dunnett, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in November and is currently undergoing treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital..

Emma has asked that any sponsorship raised be split between the SDBTT and the Royal Marsden..

The challenge was to reach the summit of the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales, all in a 24 hour period - including travelling approx 500 miles between them......

Jim tells us that they started in 20 degree heat, t-shirts etc and finished in 5 feet of snow….! Well done to everyone, including the vital support team, for this wonderful effort.

Emma's Appeal has, so far, raised approx £10,000, as a result of Adrian Clark and Jim Huggins "running" in the Reading Half Marathon, in March 2007.
